Billy Minty is a local aritst on Front St. in Thorold. At the age of 11 Billy first experienced his love for art through his Aunt Jean Logan Minty, a grade 2 teacher in Merritton. Although Billy paints abstacts he was taught at first, how to draw and paint landscapes by his Aunt Jean and his Uncle Professor Logan that taught at the University of Waterloo. Billy and his wife Pierrette enjoy strolling up to the Quebec Bank Gallery were his pieces are exhibited. |
